The purpose of FITCI's Mentoring Program is to link clients with volunteer members of the local community willing to share their successful experiences. These volunteers have experience, wisdom, and influential contacts within a particular industry segment or functional specialty that may be invaluable to start-up companies. FITCI's volunteers have specialties in functional areas such as manufacturing, marketing, human resource management, or finance or they may have more technologically or industry focused specialties such as Bio-defense research, pharmaceutical research, software marketing. Mentors will be selected based upon the needs of the FITCI client as identified in the application process.
