Entrepreneur Education

FITCI has a number of educational programs meant to provide a foundation of knowledge to entrepreneurs. Informative seminars focused upon relevant topics to our clients are held periodically onsite at FITCI.

FITCI also organizes the FITCI Fall Lecture Series in conjunction with Frederick Community College every fall. These seminars are open to the local community and are promoted to outside attendees including institutions of higher education, local business associations and memberships, and others. Seminars are great opportunities for networking with local and national service providers vetted by FITCI management. Examples of seminars include such topics as how to secure a patent, the basic implications of different business structures (LLC, partnerships, Chapter S Corporations), how to obtain research grants, business insurance basics, sales and marketing strategies, and other informative topics.
