Laurie Boyer
Ms. Boyer has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Spanish from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV.

Laurie Boyer is the Executive Director for the Frederick County
Office of Economic Development. In May 2006, she earned her
Economic Development Certification from the International Economic
Development Council. She joined the Office of Economic Development
in 2001 as a Business Development Specialist, focusing on the
Bioscience Industry. Ms. Boyer has worked for Frederick County
Government since 1996, and prior to joining OED, she served as the
Public Information Officer for the Board of County Commissioners.
