FITCI clients are fortunate to have the expertise of our Entrepreneurs in Residence, Mr. Doug Groves, and Mr. Steve Luscinski both of whom meet personally with our clients to discuss their business plans, funding acquisition needs, and assist in laying out success criteria to help their business thrive.

A highly experienced entrepreneur, Mr. Groves is a successful, business owner/manager and strategic planner with over 30 years experience. Operating from three locations and servicing nine states, Mr. Groves was responsible for all of the operations of his company including marketing and directing the efforts of up to sixty sales representatives.  Mr. Groves now serves on the board of directors of several Maryland companies. 

Doug holds a B.S. degree in Business from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master of Arts in Business from Central Michigan University.

With personal involvement in more than half dozen successful start-ups and growth companies, Steve Luscinski is an experienced owner/executive and board member with over 35 years experience.  Mr Luscinski has been CFO, COO and CEO of technology companies with international operations on several continents and revenues of more than $125MM. Mr. Luscinski currently serves on the board of several companies.

Steve holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, an MS in Civil Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is also a registered professional engineer in Rhode Island.
