The facilities offer a supportive environment for Information Technology and Biotechnology companies starting new businesses in Frederick County.  In addition to the complete infrastructure, FITCI provides an array of entrepreneur programs including a formal mentorship program, business consulting, funding acquisition assistance and training and education.  

FITCI@Hood is conveniently located within one mile of Fort Detrick, one of the nation's premier Federal Research labs, and both facilities offer close proximity to private and public researchers interested in collaborating with any of the numerous tenants stationed on the base.

FITCI@HOOD

Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI) first admitted clients into its facility in February of 2005. The headquarters is an approximately 10,000 square foot facility containing fully furnished offices, completely equipped laboratory space, a board room, conference room, lunch facility and administrative support services all located on the same floor.

FITCI@MONOCACY

In order to continue fulfilling its mission, FITCI opened the doors to a new facility located approximately 15 miles away from the original site. This 11,000 square foot facility boasts 26 new offices, 10 laboratories, and 2 conference rooms. This new building, FITCI@Monocacy, contains the same amenities and services as the original, FITCI@Hood with additional space for virtual clients to work comfortably while they are on site.
